Red wine produced in Montepulciano vine and cultivated in Minervino countryside, in bordering territories, in Abruzzo and in Tuscany.
Montepulciano grapes, cultivated in Minervino countryside, is harvested by hand when it is ripe and it is subjected to pressing which is followed by fermentation in contact with peel in order to extract aromas and polifenoliche(?) substances making particular assemblages for some days.
Wine characteristics
Colour: rich ruby red with tenuous purplish shades
Smell: intense vinous scent with cherries and berries signs
Taste: dry, soft, savoury, harmonic
Combinations: particularly recommended with mixed grill, especially pork meat and mutton, red meat and sheep’s milk cheese
